After customs release
After release, someone still has to move the cargo, return the empty when needed, and avoid terminal fees.
What still has to happen after release
Customs release means the legal hold is lifted and cargo may leave the customs area. You still need a truck, a next stop, and often a timely empty return.
Demurrage, detention, and port storage
These are different bills. Demurrage is usually the shipping line's charge for keeping their container longer than the free days they allow. Detention is a related line charge that often applies after the container leaves the port and comes back late. Port storage is the terminal's charge for the space your cargo occupies after free time. Exact free days and rates depend on your line and terminal. Check those terms early.
Sea freight after release
After sea cargo clears, we can arrange trucks so containers leave the terminal before free time runs out. Waiting on the quay is usually more expensive than moving to storage or to your next step.
Land freight after release
After land cargo clears, we can arrange the onward truck the same way. Plan the move before storage or detention clocks become the expensive part of the file.
Storage at Alexandria port and outside
We work with warehouse space at Alexandria port and outside Alexandria port, including Cairo. After release, cargo can sit there while you plan distribution. That is often cheaper than leaving goods on the terminal.

We clear customs first. After release we can arrange sea freight haulage, land freight haulage, and storage.
When Form 4 is still the blocker
If Form 4 or another paper is missing, customs may not release the cargo at all. A warehouse cannot fix that. Sort the file first, then move the goods.
