Pre shipment document review
Review the file before the vessel loads. Corrections are cheap at the desk and expensive on the terminal.
Why review before sailing
Once cargo is on the water, a wrong product code or a missing origin paper is harder to fix. Pre shipment review catches mismatches while the supplier can still correct the invoice and packing list.
What to send Hendy
Draft commercial invoice. Packing list. Expected transport details. Product description and origin. Payment path notes if Form 4 will be needed. Any prior approvals for the same product. Port or border of arrival when you know it.
What we check
Names and values that must match across papers. Product codes for customs. Whether Nafeza and the ACID number must start before loading. Whether origin papers or product approvals are likely. Whether the file is ready for inspection questions.
ACID and supplier timing
For many commercial sea imports, the ACID number must exist before the goods leave the foreign port. The foreign seller then uploads papers through Egypt's required electronic channel. We help the Egypt side of that timing so the supplier is not waiting on a number that never came.
